Stupid Ed
By: Ed Hill

Stupid Ed is Taiwanese-Canadian Comedian Ed Hill’s follow up show to his critically acclaimed comedy special, Candy & Smiley on Amazon Prime. Stupid Ed is intimate, insightful, and at times, incredible. Comprised of introspections about Ed’s relationships with the female figures in his life, the show explores the values that a first-generation Taiwanese Canadian immigrant has learned from his motherland, Canada. Stupid Ed is both a heartwarming and heartbreaking story. It is a close examination on the meaning of strength, a genuine reflection on the concept of fragility, and an honest observation on what connects all of us: Love.

Lesbihonest
By: Laura Piccini

"Lesbihonest", in its formality, is a one-hour, one-woman comedic show following my journey of "coming outs"; relaying the unravelling and rebuilding of self-identity, alongside societal shifts towards LGBTQ+ people. In reality, it's a girl with a mic and a lifetime of stories to share. It took 35 years to live, 5 to write, and an hour to perform. The show is a living piece of how I feel about my past in this very moment, on this day. Each show will be a new adventure, travelling through these moments as if living them in retrospect for the first time on stage. Just come. It'll be funny

Neurotic Erotica
By: Regan Shrumm

Based on true stories, join controversial author Esme J.K. Quimbly (Regan Shrumm), as she reads from her latest novel, 50 Shades of Grief: A Neurotic Erotica. Follow a character study of how one individual's love of 80s films and repressed queerness turned them into constantly overthinking every sexual act. Learn about how many times a person has denied sex in order to finish the end of a movie (spolier: the answer is more than once).
This solo comedy performance is full of cringing humour, bringing levity to the awkwardness that can come with exploring the mysteries of sex as you grow up.

Working Hypothesis
By: Charles Whelton

All Archie wanted was a nice day at the beach with his grandson.  The possibility of dying was the furthest thing from his mind.  And he’s not the sort to waste his time thinking about vague notions, like God, or heaven and hell.   But when an unexpected event occurs, he has no choice but to confront his own mortality and look at the bigger picture.
In this one-person play, Archie explores the mysteries of what happens when our mortal bonds are loosened, and we travel to the great beyond.

Re: Collection
By: DeAnna MacArthur & Kurt Werner

Re: Collection will feature multiple vignettes of dance and theatre inspired by a collection of writings by DeAnna MacArthur and choreography by Kurt Werner. These writings explore the ideas of navigating through the important stages of life and the handling of our mental health in times of need. Bringing the physicality of dance together with the tenderness of wordplay to draw audience members into this shared world of experience and greater understanding. All stories are supposed to have definable beginnings, middles and ends. But some stories just have light and dark. Some stories have to keep going before you know what happens. Some stories…don’t feel like stories at all.
